Aquarium

Its a classic us .. Conversation goes

Sue : "How's about a fish tank ?.. I have seen this "small all in one Bio-orb tank", which we could put in the lounge"..

G : "Can it do Marine Fish ?. "

Sue : "err No, Tank would need to be bigger.. "

So in a week the "tank plan" grow from 40L to 120L and at the weekend, we went and picked up a RedSea Max 120 from Maidenhead Aquatic at Hare Hatch.. Once home we realised the planned corner of the room was not going to work, so replan involving moving furniture around and bingo it fits. However there was room spare, so what would we do it that situation ? Yup you guessed it, get a bigger tank. So next day back to the store and swap the 120L tank for a RedSea Max 250.

Tank plus salty water .......

If in a house with Bengal cats like ours, we expect "help" with everything we do

This is about 3 weeks into the project, we got some amazing "live rock" from one of the shops. It pretty much cut 2 to 4 weeks off the setup time

For speed of getting some pictures on the web site, we simplified the webpage layout and format. Currently we simply dropped a bunch of random pictures in the gallery. The link is up to the top left.

Please forgive the quality of some of the pics, taking Aquarium photos is new to us both, so yet another learning curve.

Plan is to update this web page with news, stories, maybe add a blog and water & chemical logs and pictures as we build up the Aquarium, Hmmm I guess I will need to kick the "webmistress" into life and hope she can remember how to update the PHP code ;)
